About Sugarpie & Honeybunch
Put simply: they are perfect. They are sweet, gentle, snuggly, and affectionate. They purr the moment they are pet. They love human attention and company. They follow me around the house and will flop when given back scratches.
They are also the ideal amount of playful. They love chasing a wand toy or the electronic toy as it spins, and they love running through their tunnels and cubes chasing each other. They wrestle and run, pounce and climb, but are always incredibly gentle and never destructive. They will also settle down the second they are put in the bedroom with their blanket because they will immediately start purring and kneading themselves to sleep.
These two are very sociable. Although there are no kids or dogs in the foster home, they have been around four adult cats, numerous adult people, and loud noises without being intimidated or hiding. They are just the happiest little girls that are a joy to be around.
Sugarpie is slightly bolder and braver than Honeybunch. She does everything first while Honeybunch watches, and as soon as Honeybunch sees it is OK, she is right there with her sister! Their favorite things to do together include playing tag, wrestling, and watching passerby out the window.
I am confident that they will adapt quickly no matter where they go because they have proven to be well socialized and resilient. They would be perfect for a first time cat owner or an experienced cat owner, for someone who works from home or in an office, because they love people and attention, but are also incredibly easy going and content when it is just the two of them. They would also be great in a home with existing cats because these two don’t bother any of the adult cats in the foster home since they’re so sweet and mellow and since they entertain each other. I can’t say enough great things about these little angels other than anyone would be lucky to have them as a part of their family.
