About Zephaniah (declawed)

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Brown Tabby
  • Current Age: 5 Years 2 Months (best estimate)
  • Declawed: Yes

If you are looking for a gentle giant, Zephaniah, or Zeff, is the kitty for you.  Zeff is front declawed. He came to FFGW after his person could no longer care for him.  It took him a little time to come out of his shell in his foster home, but he makes  great progress every day.  We understand his hesitation because he has lived with just his dad since he was a teeny tiny kitten so his entire world just got uprooted.

Zeff is both an independent cat and a cat who seeks affection.  He spends much of his days hunkered down under the bed covers, but emerges every so often to say hello, sit at your side, and seek some pets.  In the evenings he is out and about, and he loves, loves, loves to lie on his foster dad’s chest, where he cuddles, drools and purrs. He likes everyone but seems to favor men.

Zeff also loves his catnip, and will lie on the rug rolling around in it with great abandon.  Weighing in at 15 pounds, Zeff is a big boy with a beautiful coat that looks like it has tiny flecks of gold in it.  He is super sweet and loving, and an all around great cat!
