I am also a lover and mommie to several cats including, one that I raised off of a bottle with lots of TLC. If I could, I would take in all the strays that noone else wants. Message From: EizneKcM February 19, 2005 This is a terrific! site and I enjoyed seeing all the cats that were adopted. That was really encouraging. I have 3 cats that we found. "Farm" cats seem to make the best kind of pet. They love you only b/c they have never had anyone else to love. So if you are wanting a certain breed of cat, get one from a shelter. They might not be perfect, but that is the best kind!!! Thank you for your hard work to find good homes for these sweet cats! Message From: Jeannemarie Sunday February 15, 2005 I think what you are doing is great. I myself have 1 bird and one dog and about 10 cats. They all get along pretty well except the dog likes to chase the cats sometime. I wish more people cared about animals and could take the time to help them out. Have you tried approaching Wal-Mart and some of the other big stores and corporations about donations and possible volunteer help? I know that they are alaways doing things for people who are disabled or sick. Animals matter too because they can help out when someone is sick or lonely. If you've ever wondered about the kitties in the FFGW logo, we'd like to tell you they were inspired by us and designed by Denise, one of the 4 FFGW founders. We were two of the FFGW's very first rescues, a devoted brother (big) and sister (little) pair. We were very, very shy but left big paw prints on hearts everywhere.
