From the Hebrew meaning "blessed happy" comes the name Asher for this loveable, snuggly, so happy to be indoors again senior (8 y.o. estimate) orange tabby boy. He showed up at a feral feeding station in summer '09, and it was soon obvious that this hungry boy had been lost or abandoned, because he showed his affection immediately to the caretaker. Before a Jan. cold snap, Asher came into foster care, received his routine vet care as well as a much needed dental and now he is waiting to retire permanently with his own human bean. Not too fond of other cats, though not aggressive.
