When this beautiful, cuddly brown tabby girl was a tiny kitten, she lived with a couple from Falls Church . They got her to be a companion for their lonely 14 year old cat. Thinking she was a boy, they named  their new kitten Jerome, and the name stuck despite the eventual discovery of her true gender. For 7 years, the two cats and the two humans made a happy family. But in 2003, Jerome's beloved older kitty sibling died and her humans had a baby. Too busy to care for their lonely girl, Jerome's parents gave her up for adoption. Happily, Jerome found a new home with a 98 year old lady whose kitty had recently died. It was mutual love at first sight, and Jerome and her new mom spent almost every minute of the next 6 years together. Now 104, Jerome's mom has entered a nursing home and could not take Jerome with her. Temporarily lodging with a family member whose own FFGW adoptee cannot abide other cats, poor Jerome is alone and lonely all over again. Lovely Jerome will make a purr-fectly wonderful companion for a very special someone.
